Site Spell Checker: proofreading the website after it goes live

A website proofreader that starts with the pages visitors actually see.

A typo can survive a website launch even when the copy was checked before it went into the CMS. The published page is its own thing, and that is where this project starts.

Site Spell Checker crawls websites to find spelling, grammar, and style issues. The public scan flow starts with a URL and an email address, and the site includes an example report showing how findings are presented.

Make the findings useful

Finding a mistake is only part of the job. Someone still has to understand it, locate it, and decide whether the suggestion makes sense. The report gives issues context and suggested corrections, making the result something a person can review.

The useful boundary here is the live website. This puts proofreading alongside the other checks that happen around a launch or a client handoff.

The output needs human review. A suggestion about wording or style is something to consider in context, especially when the website uses names or terminology a general proofreader may not recognize.
